Another thing is the little magnifying glass above the date is called a sight plus on a Rolex is 2.5 times magnification o a fake Rolex 99 % of the time it will be 1.5 times magnification.  The Date on a real Rolex it will jump right out to you, on a fake Rolex you can't verily see it.These are just a few helpful hints, there are thousands and thousands of different kinds of fakes out there,  and there are some extremely elaborate fakes.

If you are going to buy off somebody a Rolex or if you are going to buy it used, buy it at a trust able pawn shop in your local area or go buy a new one,  but don't buy it on the internet, don't buy it on craigs list, do not buy it on the street.
